Description
Students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to plan, document, construct, and analyze prototypes. This includes learning prototyping as an iterative process where elements of projects are continually tested and improved.
Objectives
- Research necessary information to determine target requirements, goals, and audience.
- Determine the appropriate level and dimension of prototype fidelity.
- Plan and construct prototypes using different mediums and methods.
- Test and analyze prototypes for possible application to the project.
- Write professional level technical documentation for all of the stages of the prototyping process.
- Utilize the prototyping process to develop and improve thesis project, as well as future projects.
